We are a group of college students (from the College of Charleston, Trident Tech, and the Citadel) who have been blessed with the opportunity to spend time with the children of Charleston. We play sports, have crafts, draw with chalk, etc. and most importantly build relationships and spread the good news of Jesus Christ through short Bible lessons. We do this at the basketball court located on Columbus and America Streets in the Eastside of Charleston every Friday from 4-6 (roughly).

This friday at the American Theatre 'Waves In Our Pocket will be playing at the 2011 Charleston International Film Festival. Half of the benefits will go to Surfers Healing! feature-length HD surf film featuring Folly Beach, South Carolina’s under-

the-radar talent. The highly anticipated ‘Waves in Our Pocket’ debuts on

the American Theatre big screen March 26th, with a red carpet premiere

party in historic downtown Charleston, South Carolina. The Thomas

Brothers promise a unique surf movie experience filmed in high definition

and delivered to the public how it should be: on the big screen.

Productions, “Waves In Our Pocket” documents the adventures of the

Thomas Brothers, along with friends and fellow Folly Beach locals Kyle

Busey, Cuff Gleaton, Patrick Evers and others as they spend September

2010 riding a month long swell train of perfection.

"Knowing that the whole community of surfers were behind us in making

this film was a major motivation." Actually scoring the waves we needed

to make this film happen was also a huge help in making the best film

locals in perfect waves, and most of all, right in our backyard. Normally

when the waves are firing at home I can’t help but be in the water, but

In exactly 67 days we will be releasing our first feature film, 'Waves In Our Pocket'. On March 26 we will have our first premiere that will be held at the historic American Theatre. With two showings happening 7 and 9 o'clock. A red carpet event with photographers and over flowing with free swag to give out. An after party will be held (to celebrate seeing all of your friends on the big screen) at Omalley's a few blocks away. Sounds like an amazing night, so why stop the party then? Over The past several months Thomas Brothers productions has gained many fans and several haters. Who's to say if they are being serious are just trying to get people moving, because thats exactly what there doing. After "September Throwaways" came out we had 30 comments and 1000 views in one day! I'd say thats pretty successful for a rainy monday. Lets look back on all the comments we have gotten that make this all memorable. We will keep the videos coming and you keep the comments coming. We have been doing so much for the movie lately its all coming together. Filming lifestyle for the stars of the movie, scenery, music, graphic design, and finally some editing. Yes! the editing of trailer has begun.. but it wont be out until some time in December. Lets just say it looks REALLY GOOD! Have some ideas to keep everyone entertained, but posts will be more spaced out.

Not done filming yet... but lets hope for more sets to role through like this again!

This video is about an adventure within our own Islands. The waves this day were head high (forgot which storm) on Folly a couple of months ago. We took the boat out at low tide to see if it was any good... but the winds ended up blowing the wrong direction and we get stuck with some long mushy knee high waves. Good thing we brought two longboards! The surfing is not good.. its just something to throw up on the blog. So enjoy it for the scenery and watch the trip that we took through our perspective. Morris is far from a secret and will never be crowded... Just had to say that if any Morris locals would be pissed if im blowing there cover! So check it out for what it is... enjoy.

I have gone through all the footage and all I can say is.. sucks for you! Because there is soo much good footage that you can't see... With just about 320 clips and 30 surfers with keepers. Its all time! Now I have 80 throwaway clips.. it wont make it look as good as it was? but it is something to show. I have people that want to see throwaways and then I've got haters that can't wait to rip on it! With a full week of school it will take me a few days.. but be patient and stay tuned...If you can't wait check out the new page on the blog titled 'Top Videos' you can see some of our older but good videos..

He is still ripping and has gotten more barrels on film than most... Blue Spivey really earned it this swell. Anyone that goes out of his way to get us lunch so we can keep filming is worthy of surfer of the week. When this swell showed up I didn't think to much of it.. Because how could it be much better than Earl, right? Well 3 hours of footage later we got some of our best clips so far. With so many barrels I can't believe its Folly? Here are some dark morning shots from yesterday (sept. 30).. I have only gotten through thirty minutes of it all and it is looking very good...Busey Delivered..
Finally got Trevor Seckinger on some good ones..
And roper was pulling in..

A better camera makes for better screen shots.. The new setup was working like a dream this weekend so smooth and the quality is unreal! Igor produced and left us chasing around for the right spot every morning... but the afternoons would always clean up to give us something to work with. The usuals were out like Kyle Busey and Cuff Gleaton.. Igor helped them to clean up there sections.
And then there was Todd Youngblood and Will Roper.. Igor helped them to start there sections!
Overall Igor was a good swell that left us with 1 hour and 30 min of footage to go through... When its all broken down it will probably be about 4 or 5 minutes. But in terms of a movie that is alot! Thank you Igor..
